FAQ

Learn to Swim

What are the terms & conditions for learn to swim?

You can view the learn to swim terms and conditions here.

What is a time stop?

A time stop allows you to temporarily freeze your direct debit payments for access to the pool.

How do I request a time stop?

To request a time stop, submit a time stop form here at least fourteen (14) working days before your next scheduled fortnightly direct debit payment period or the date specified by Collegiate Pool.

How long can I stop my payments?

Time stops can only be applied for a full term or during holiday periods (unless you are in adult learn to swim), as specified on the form. These stops must be in 2-week blocks and can total up to 12 weeks per year.

What happens to my pool access during a time stop?

Once your time stop is processed, you will not have access to the pool. This means you cannot enrol in make-up classes whilst on time stop.

Are there any restrictions on who can request a time stop?

If a student has not been in the program for sixteen (16) weeks, the time stop will not be accepted, and payments will continue as scheduled.

Can I Time Stop for part of the Time Stop Block on the form?

No. Time Stops must be applied for the entirety of the Time Stop block selected. If you attend a lesson whilst on Time Stop a charge for the full Time Stop period will be deducted.

What happens if I attend on Time Stop?

If you attend on Time Stop a charge for the Time Stop period will be automatically deducted from your account.
