HC Coaches are providing swimmers an opportunity to prepare for the next stage in their swimming development by offering a simulation time trials in replacement of training for national and target squads, immediately following the LC State Championships.

Most major competition are 5 - 10 days in duration, therefore to be prepared mentally and physically for this task, swimmers will need experience. We are going to offer this to our HC swimmers through this club meet.

A three day competition can be crowded with too many events. Trying to fit too many events into a program, reduces the quality, therefore these additional sessions will provide an opportunity for swimmers to consider leaving some longer distances out of the state championships. When choosing events, select races you ordinary may have been only trying to fit into the program and consider achieving an unofficial time in training that you are able to work towards in the future.
