The Collegiate Pool offers Learn to Swim Programs throughout the year, except for Easter and Christmas breaks. The Learn to Swim Program operates on a rolling basis. Meaning the teacher extends students and class, this means students are enrolled in a class permanently, and not required to re-enrol.

Learn to Swim classes are run Monday—Friday after school, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon. Classes are scheduled from beginners, 3yrs, all the way through to adults and squad level. All instructors are qualified by Austswim and/or ASCTA. 

Adult Learn to Swim classes are scheduled on Monday and Tuesday evenings. For more information on Adult Learn to Swim view our Adult Learn to Swim page. 

Collegiate pool utilises a swipe card system.  This system will enable patrons to use their card to access the pool, rather than handing the card to office staff upon entry.  The card system provides an added layer of security by electronically logging the entry time of all persons linked to that card, for SafeGuarding children policy, at St Michael's Collegiate School.  

Collegiate Pool is a cashless facility, and utilises a direct debit system, for all transactions. This enables the payments to be paused in the case of any further closures. 

Students are able to pause payments over school holiday periods, or for a whole term, through submitting a timestop form. The total amount of time stopped lessons over a calendar year is not to exceed twelve weeks.
