Swimmers in this group develop their kicking legs and implement them to their front torpedo and glides, along with learning treading water. They also are introduced to freestyle arms and backstroke arms over 5m. Swimmers continue to refine their breathing technique, ready to implement it into their swimming at later levels.
Swimmers build on their freestyle and backstroke arms, learning about side breathing for freestyle. They extend the distance they can swim for and also develop their treading water.
Swimmers continue to develop their technique and efficiency in freestyle and backstroke to be able to swim a longer distance. Swimmers also extend their efficency in treading water to be able to tread water for a longer duration.
