OUR SQUADS

JUNIOR RACERS (9 & UNDER)

- 3 x 1 hour sessions per week (4:00pm - 5:00pm)
- 30 minute land-based training each week
- Monthly club night
- ASCTA qualified coaching team
- Emphasis on skill development

JUNIOR SQUAD (11 & UNDER)

- 5 x 1 hour sessions per week (4:00pm-5:00pm)
- 30 minutes land-based training per week

STATE BRONZE

- Sessions at Collegiate Pool and Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre
- 5 x 1.5 hour sessions per week
- 3 x active warm up sessions per week
HC recognises that swimmers may have different goals, which is why we offer two pathways from State Bronze

STATE SILVER

- 5 x 1.5 hour sessions per week
- 4 x active warm up sessions per week
- Transitioning from a regional swimmer to state swimmer

STATE GOLD

- 6 x 1.5 hour sessions per week
- Active warm-up
- Targetting Victorian Championships

TARGET SQUAD

- 7 Sessions per week
- Active warm up
- 2 x gym sessions at Collegiate School

NATIONAL SQUAD

- 8-9 Sessions per week
- Active warm up
- 2 x gym sessions at Collegiate School
- Yoga
Swimmers may slide between our competitive squad and H2O Squad based on where they are at

This sliding structure is incorporated in our 
Return to Training Policy

H2O SQUAD

- Designed to support swimmers who may wish to focus on different goals
- 1.5 hour sessions, focus on fitness, skill development & enjoyment of swimming
- Provides space for competitive swimmers to remain connected to the water whilst recovering 
- Promotes physical and emotional wellbeing

MATRIX SQUAD


This squad caters for individuals with additional learning or physical considerations who love the water, providing them with the opportunity to develop their aquatic skills and be part of a team environment.

- 3 x 1 hour sessions per week
- Maximum of 12 swimmers
- Participate in club environment
